The Spartans FC have confirmed that Hannah Jordan has signed with Hibernian FC for a one-year contract.
The 20-year-old scored 15 goals in 32 games with The Spartans over the course of the 24/25 season and has been with the club for three seasons, playing in over 100 games with a Spartans career total of 27 goals.
Hannah joins Hibs with immediate effect.
Spartans Head Coach Jack Beesley shared his thoughts about the striker’s move across the city:
“Spartans are obviously delighted with Hannah’s fully deserved move to the league champions. However, she’ll be a big miss for us. Hannah was the best part-time player in the country last season and made such huge strides in her development. She scored a lot of goals but is so much more than just a finisher with so many on and off the ball attributes to her game.’’

Hannah, who turns 21 in late July said:
“I am looking forward to my move to Hibs. I hope to learn from the experience that is around me and hopefully continue my development as a player in a full-time environment. Although it’s a different challenge, I feel ready to take the next step in my career.”
The former Scotland age grade international commented that she had ‘absolutely loved’ her time at the club and how it introduced her to SWPL 1 football:
“As a young player, I was given every opportunity to play every week and gain so much experience as a player and person.” I am grateful for everyone involved with the club for making my experience here so memorable. I’ve lots of happy memories.’’
Hannah had her own personal trophy haul last season, receiving the SPWL1 Player of the Month award in November 2024 after netting in 4 goals in 3 games that month – including a hat trick against Montrose. She also made the shortlist for the SPFA Young Player of the Year.
Finally, she picked up the Spartans’ Coaches’ and Players’ Player of the Year awards at the end of last term.

Hannah revealed that her favourite moment during the three years with The Spartans was knocking full-time club Celtic out of the League Cup on penalties in the 2022/2023 season.
Hibs Women’s head coach Grant Scott commented:
“I’m delighted to have Hannah join the club. To have another one of Scotland’s top young talents decide to join Hibs to further their development is fantastic.”
“After a decent goal scoring in a team that had a tough campaign last season, we think she can kick-on and add to our attacking options.”
