Join our Girls Academy
At Spartans Girls Academy our key aims and objectives are:
- To provide opportunities for children and young people to play football in a safe environment
- To develop players to play football at the highest level
- To help children and young people to learn skills and values for later life
For us, this is at the very heart of ‘The Spartans Way’. At youth level our club genuinely believes it’s not the winning that counts but ensuring we provide the best development for our players at all levels. This mindset has not prevented us from producing National and local trophy winning teams. Ultimately we want to and do see our most talented players progress to U20s, the Spartans first team and beyond.
Across the whole club we work closely with the SFA. The youth section plays a leading part in helping the club maintain its prestigious SFA Legacy award. This is awarded to clubs who excel in their coaching standards, football development and their wider contribution to the local community. This recognition cements our position as one of the most innovative and leading Community clubs within Scotland. It is something we are proud to be part of.
We are hugely grateful to all the volunteers across the Girls Academy who make the running of the club possible with their unerring commitment, effort and support.
