Spartans F.C. are thrilled to unveil their first signing of the summer, securing the talented young forward Olivia Hurrell ahead of the 2025–26 season.
The 19-year-old arrives after a standout campaign with St Johnstone WFC, where she finished the 2024–25 season as the club’s top scorer, netting an impressive 21 goals in 29 appearances. Her performances earned her joint Player of the Year honours, highlighting her growing reputation as one of the most promising attacking talents in the SWPL.
Hurrell originally joined St Johnstone on loan from Dundee United in January 2024, making an instant impact with her pace, sharp movement, and eye for goal. Her form quickly established her as a key figure in the Perth side’s attack, and she continued that momentum through the remainder of the season.
Upon signing, Olivia said:
“I’m delighted to be signing for Spartans. I’m really looking forward to a change of scenery, to develop as a player and also support the team in every way I can. I can’t wait to get started and I’m excited for what this season holds!”
