The Spartans are delighted to announce that midfielder Tegan Reynolds returns for the 2026/27 SPWPL 1 campaign. A product of our Girls Academy, Reynolds has clocked up over 160 first team appearances since progressing from the club’s Under 17s set-up back in 2014.
Tegan made her SWPL 1 debut, pictured below, as a sprightly sixteen year old against Stirling University in October 2016 and has been an integral part of the squad since.

Welcoming Tegan back after the summer break, Head Coach Jack Beesley said, “We’re delighted that Tegan is with us again this season. Although she had an unfortunate arm injury at the start of last season, she went on to outline her importance to us with such a consistent level of performance.
“The club means so much to her, which you see on every training session and matchday, and this fight, along with her composure, awareness and anticipation, will be so important for our chances this season. Tegan playing well increases the chances of Spartans playing well”
Looking ahead to a return back to the top flight, Tegan added, “I’m delighted to be back for another year at Spartans. Going into my 12th season at the club, it’s a place that has become home to me, and there’s nowhere else I’d rather be. Winning the league on the final day last season after such an incredible comeback made it even more special.
“To be part of that journey with this group of players, staff and supporters is something I’ll never forget. I’m excited to get back with the girls, and build on what we achieved last season!”
