The Spartans can confirm the arrival of striker Rachel Murchie on a season-long loan deal from Glasgow City.
Rachel, who has made a series of appearances at Scotland Women’s u19s level, heads East to join Jack Beesley’s squad for the 2025/26 campaign.
Speaking of the move, Manager Jack Beesley said, “We are really looking forward to Rachel spending this season on loan at Spartans. She was a player who stood out at U18s and we hope this season can be a breakthrough for her at 1st team level.
“She has excellent feet, a strong football IQ and a real hunger to develop and improve. We hope our style of play will compliment hers and she will be a real attacking weapon this season”
Murchie added, “I’m excited to be joining Spartans on loan this season and really looking forward to working with Jack and the team. I think their style of play really suits me and I can’t wait for the season to start.”
