The Spartans can confirm the signing of defender Hannah Cunningham who joins Jack Beesley’s side as final preparations get underway for the 2025-26 season.
The four-times capped former Scotland age-grade Internationalist previous clubs include Motherwell and most recently Queens Park, who she scored for in a 1-1 draw against Spartans last November.
Manager Jack Beesley said of securing Hannah’s signature, “We’re delighted to welcome Hannah to Spartans. She was a player who stood out each time we played Queen’s Park last season; comfortable in possession but also capable defending 1v1 and recovering quickly in transition.
“She is clearly someone who is driven, enjoys learning and wants to develop, and we feel Spartans can be the ideal environment for her. After retaining Sarah, Robyn and Ronaigh from last season, Hannah gives us another strong option in our back line and we look forward to seeing her in a Spartans jersey”
On making the move to Spartans, Hannah added, “I’m delighted to be signing for Spartans. After speaking to Jack, I knew this was where my next step had to be, they’re building something exciting here and I wanted to be a part of it. The club is ambitious and hungry to achieve, which is exactly what I’m looking for, I can’t wait to get started.”
