The Spartans are delighted to welcome new signing Lucy Mundy to the Vanloq Community Stadium.
Hailing from Calgary, Canada, Mundy arrives in Edinburgh to further her studies at the University, joining Spartans as her football journey continues.
The attacking midfielder spent four seasons with the Lethbridge University Pronghorns club before spending time at Calgary Rangers ahead of her move to Scotland.
On looking forward to joining her new team-mates on the pitch, Lucy said, “I’m excited to sign for Spartans and be a part of a team with a clear vision for progression both on and off the pitch, and strong ties to its community.
“It’s clear there’s something special building here, and I’m proud to now be a part of it. I’m looking forward to contributing to that journey, working hard, and giving my all for the badge, the fans, and my teammates.”
Manager Jack Beesley added, “We are delighted to welcome Lucy to Spartans for this season, as she moves here to study at Edinburgh University.
Lucy is a player who can play in a number of attacking areas, and possesses a good speed of play, awareness and ability to finish. She is a bubbly character who is eager to learn and improve, and someone who we feel will complement our existing group well.
