The Spartans are delighted to announce the return of Zara Andrews to Jack Beesley’s side.
A former Hearts Academy player, Zara has a plethora of experience across different age groups throughout her career to date and has two Scottish U-16s caps, scoring 4 goals in the process.
Zara didn’t take long to make an impression, making a scoring debut against Dundee United in February and was then rewarded with the Goal of the Season award for her phenomenal strike against Montrose.
Jack Beesley said, “Having joined us for a short spell at the end of last season, Zara made an instant impact with some key goals and assists. She adapted really well to the demands of her first experience of playing 1st team football and there is no doubt there can be much more to come. She’s an excellent finisher but also a creator of goals and we hope she can provide us some real potency at the top end of the pitch”
Speaking of her return to the Vanloq Community Stadium, Zara said, “I am so excited to re-sign with Spartans and continue my journey here. I am motivated to keep developing and can’t wait to get back out there with the best group of girls!”
