Rachel Harrison signs contract extension

We are delighted to confirm that Rachel Harrison has signed a contract extension with the club.

Goalkeeper Rachel Harrison, who has racked up 240 appearances for the club, has put pen-to-paper on a new contract.

Rachel initially signed for the club in 2010 and has went on to become a double centurion, etching her name in the history books as she became the first to do so for Spartans. In the 22/23 season, Rachel helped the team along the way to some iconic moments. Most notably, the shot stopper showed some penalty heroics which would see the team progress past Hearts and defending champions Celtic to reach the Semi-Final of the Sky Sports Cup.

On signing her new deal, Rachel said:
“I’m so excited to be extending my stay at Ainslie Park. The club is going in the right direction both on and off the park and I’m thrilled to be involved in that. This club is like family to me. We had a great end to season and we’re raring to go to take that momentum into pre season with the aim of finishing top six.”

Spartans fans can now purchase their Season Tickets, which allows entry into all Women and Men’s game via the club shop.
