We are delighted to welcome Eilidh Davies, from Hearts Women F.C., to Ainslie Park for the forthcoming SWPL 1 season.  Davies joined Hearts from Jeanfield Swifts and made her first team debut towards the end of the 2020/21 season. A central midfielder, Eilidh showed great resilience to battle back from injury towards the end of the 22/23 campaign, before joining Dundee United WFC on loan in January for the remainder of the season.

Eilidh had this to say about signing for Spartans: “After speaking with Jack and hearing his plans I’m really excited to be part of this team. Spartans is an ambitious club and a fantastic set up, and I’m looking forward to working with all the players and staff, getting ready for the season.”

Speaking to the official Spartans Women website, Head Coach Jack Beesley said: “Eilidh is a player I know from my time at Hearts. She has a great attitude and is another player we hope can bring her standards and experience from the full-time environment to help us drive forward. She’s a very technical player who we see as matching up well with how we want to play. I look forward to working with her this season.”
