Spartans Welcome Erin Rennie

The Spartans Football Club is thrilled to announce the signing of Erin Rennie, who joins us from Hearts Women. The 21 year-old midfielder has signed a 12 month contract with the club, which will see Erin play for the mighty Spartans until the end of the 24/25 campaign.

Even at 21, Erin brings a wealth of experience and talent to the team, having previously played for Hibernian Women and Forfar Farmington in the Scottish Women’s Premier League. Known for being a versatile midfielder with great energy and technical skill, Erin is expected to make an immediate impact on the squad.

We caught up with Erin as she took in her new surroundings at Ainslie Park yesterday afternoon: “I’m delighted to sign for Spartans. Jack and the club are ambitious in terms of the direction that they want the club to go in and I want to be a part of that. I’m looking forward to meeting the team and getting started.”

SWPL Head Coach Jack Beesley was delighted to make his first signing for the club: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Erin to Spartans. Attracting a player of her calibre is a great coup for the club and outlines our ambitions to progress. She is a player who will bring creativity, intelligence and a huge desire to win and whose drive, high standards and high level of professionalism will compliment our existing group very well. We are confident Erin can make a really positive impact next season, as well as Spartans providing the ideal environment for her to continue her development.”

Welcome to Spartans Erin and we look forward to seeing you in a Spartans jersey soon!
