We are thrilled to announce that Simone McMahon has signed a contract extension at the club, seeing her enter her ninth season as a Spartan.

Simone joined up with the Spartans SWPL squad in 2016 and has since went on to make 109 appearances for the club. Simone marked her milestone 100th appearance as a Spartan in the 22/23 season, captaining the side in front of an Ainslie Park support.

On re-signing with the club, Simone spoke of the honour to pull on the Spartans badge:
“I’m really excited and grateful to sign a contract extension in what will be my 9th season with this special club. Now that pre-season is underway, I can’t wait for the season to start.”
